Creating an attorney/client relationship, and ensuring that privilege attaches and will keep communications confidential, requires a bit of work.  Please be aware that neither Matt Block nor Block Law Office, LLC will agree to be your attorney or give you legal advice or representation without a written engagement agreement in the form a letter from Matt Block to you that outlines the scope of the engagement and financial terms.  Until we have both signed one of those, I am not your lawyer.  That means it is a terrible idea to send me confidential information.  The best way to use this form is to send me some non-secret information about your issue, your full name and contact information, and the full name of every other person or company involved in the situation.  That will give me enough to figure out whether I can help you.

While Block Law Office, LLC would like to hear from you, we cannot represent you, or receive any confidential information from you, until we know that any proposed representation would be appropriate and acceptable, and would not create any conflict of interest. We reserve the right to use any information you send us through this website in whatever manner we deem most appropriate.  In particular, if I am already representing the other side of an issue and you share information that might be helpful to the other side, I may pass that information along.  So do not send me anything you would like to have kept secret unless and until you have hired me as your attorney.
